What the fee covers
- Initial booking intake and repair route selection.
- Device receipt, logging and diagnostic assessment.
- Fault testing and repair feasibility review.
- Preparation of the repair quote or diagnostic outcome.
Repair quote approval
No repair work proceeds until a quote is provided and approved. If the quote is declined, Tech2Fix will follow the agreed return process.
Data Recovery Assessment
For Data Recovery bookings, the same upfront fee covers a Data Recovery Assessment. This checks whether recovery is viable, what route is safest, what risk applies and what recovery quote should be issued before any recovery attempt is carried out.
No-fix outcome
If the device cannot be repaired or the repair is not practical, Tech2Fix will explain the outcome. The diagnostic fee covers the assessment work already carried out.
